glass-inspiration GmbH DESIGN & ENGINEERING, a leading manufacturer of laminated laminated glass with custom inserts, has supplied glass elements for a unique wall covering for a bar/restaurant in Beverly Hills (USA). The wall paneling is backlit wood veneer, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for visitors. Project management and installation were carried out by GPI Design (Ohio).
The ash veneer used for this project with a thickness of 0.4 mm was laminated between two panes of glass with the utmost care in the glass-inspiration factory in Austria. The lamination process ensures the durability of the veneer making it ideal for high traffic areas such as bars/restaurants.
In order to create a harmonious picture, the veneer sheets were mirrored. This technique not only creates a stunning effect, but seamlessly blends the wall covering into the surrounding area. The backlighting gives it additional depth and dimension, which at the same time ensures a beautiful and captivating sight.
