“At the beginning of the design development of the Lucia lamp there was an intensive examination of the material paper and its history. Inspired by the diverse, often unusual application areas of paper in its tradition, I have dealt in particular with the topic of interior design.
The pleasant atmosphere that paper can create in combination with light aroused my interest. The glass substrate allows for clear lines. Due to the transparency of the paper mesh and the glass, the lamp conveys lightness and fits perfectly into the living space.”
In her fragility, Lucia acts as a connection between the visible and the invisible, acts as an unobtrusive mediator between light and dark and thus contributes to the creation of a pleasant room atmosphere.”
